Event Class Placement Critique
2019 USCA Sieger Show Working Females VA4 A medium-sized female, in the correct size, very good head, dark eyes, withers could be slightly more defined, but she stands out due to her exuberance to run, displays a lot of temperament and liveliness in the ring, firm back, excellent position of the croup as far as length and position, very good angulation front and rear, displays flowing ground-covering gait.
2019 Bundessiegerzuchtschau in Nürnberg Working Females V 5 Ivy is medium in size, rich in content, strong, dry and firm, elongated, very good expression, very good pigmentation, feminine. High, long withers, straight, firm back, the croup is slightly short when well placed. Very well angulated, balanced chest, correct front. Slightly heel-to-toe, straight in front, shows flat over the ground gaits with very powerful supply, very good back transfer and free step forward. Ivy is bred in the dam line over 6 generations in the Austrian kennel vom Leithawald. She has been used for breeding once before. An above average performance in the TSB test. TSB: pronounced, lets out.
2017 Bundessiegerzuchtschau in Ulm Youth Dog (12-18 Months) Females SG 2 Ivy von der Sulzbachwiese, the vice-best of the youngsters, is in top condition at the Siegerschau and convinces with her charisma, which she derives from her anatomical structure, which is correct in all areas, paired with a desirable type, correct bitch character and a head full of character. Early in the season I was able to form an opinion of her convincing overall build and it was helpful and interesting to follow the career of the bitch with constant improvement and development. Ivy stands out through her very correct building proportions with the right depth of chest and the typical extension of a German Shepherd dog, which helps her to a particularly fluid, space-creating movement in the right balance. She is of medium size, strong and very rich in content without exaggeration. She has ideal angular positions in the forehand and hindquarters, combined with very good overall strength. At the same time she has the right elasticity in the back ligaments to transfer the productive gaits from powerful supply to a far reaching forefront. The very well formed croup is also a prerequisite for this. Ivy's step sequences from behind and in front are not to be objected. This Groovy daughter is very much in the type of her dam Ussi vom Leithawald, a daughter of Omen by Radhaus. In spite of her multiple inbreeding for Vegas macros, which in my opinion should not be increased in future breeding efforts, I like Ivy because of her overall correctness without exaggeration. Also I could convince myself in a suitable way of her above-average instinct disposition. In the open race for the winning title in this class Ivy only had to admit defeat because of the not always optimal sublimity, which however results from her ideal curb angle.
